Biography
Hi, my name is Fengyuan Liu, an undergraduate student in Department of AI and Data Science School, University of Science and Technology of China. Additionally, I am an intern of LINs Lab, Westlake University now, under the supervision of Prof. Tao Lin. I am also a visiting student in UPenn GMLR Lab supervised by Prof. Jiatao Gu.
My research interests include Generative Modeling, Representation Learning and Data-Centric Learning.
In my spare time, I write some blogs about generative models, applied mathematics and PyTorch technics, which I will update simultaneously with the Chinese blogs on Zhihu (you can see the Chinese-Version blogs here).

Research Interests
Generative Modeling
- Unified of Understanding and Generation of Models: Enable generative models to fully understand data and generate new data. -- "What I cannot create, I do not understand."
- Efficiency of Generative Models: Improve the efficiency of generative models from the perspective of model architecture, model training and reasoning methods, and mathematical principles.
- Better Capabilities of Generative Models: Improve the ability to generate of generative models from both model-based and data-centric perspectives.
- Data-Centric Learning: The statistical properties of data, such as manifold assumptions, distribution patterns and representation properties, make data easier to learn and understand.
